Vivian Beatrice Guido of Galloway, OH passed away July 1, 2023 at an assisted living facility surrounded by family. Vivian was the youngest of 3 children born in Delaware, OH in 1928. After graduating high school she soon gave birth to her only son, Bill, and thereafter made her way to Columbus. While working as a waitress in a Columbus diner she met the love of her life, Tony Guido, and they were married in 1955. Vivian and Tony found their home in Galloway in the early 1970's where they made and still have lifelong friends. Vivian and Tony were longtime Eastern Star / Masonic members and attended The Church Next Door where they held their faith dearly. Vivian was a great cook and loved preparing meals for friends and family and having get-togethers, especially at holidays. Vivian was also an avid reader of romantic novels, a fantastic seamstress and knitter and absolutely devoted to her family. She lived a fulfilling life and will be sorely missed. Vivian is survived by her husband, Tony, and several nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, a great-great grandchild and a daughter in law.
Family will visit and remember with friends on July 21, 2023 from 11AM-1PM at Newcomer Funeral Home - 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123, with a burial service to follow at Sunset Cemetery - 6959 W Broad, Galloway, OH 43119. Please come to celebrate Vivian's life and legacy.
