Vivian M. Evans, 84, of Grove City, formally of Tiltonsville, OH, passed away December 5, 2010 at her residence. She was born August 7, 1926 in Jefferson County OH, to her late parents, Stanley Stone and Mary (Roshak) Walter. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Evans Sr., sister, Elsie McLaughlin, step-father, Adolph H. Walter. She is survived by her children, Janine (Gene) Killilea, Susan "Suize" Wisneski and Jonathan Wisneski; grandchildren, Ryan and Kelly Vince, and many nieces and nephews. Vivian was known to everyone as Aunt "Viv". She was a loving, compassionate and determined woman whose house was always open with food on the table. Vivian graduated from Warren Consolidated High School and Wheeling College of Business. During WWII she worked at Wheeling Pittsburg Steel sorting tin. She also owned a clothing business called Jonathan's in Martins Ferry, OH. She then graduated from Belmont County School of Nursing with her LPN license. And at the age of 65 she received her reality license and worked for Castle Realty in St. Clairsville, OH. A memorial service will be held from 4 to 7 PM December 9, 2010 at Vivians residence. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Mt. Carmel Hospice Foundation, 6150 E. Broad St., Columbus, OH 43213 or Mid- Ohio Foodbank, 3960 Brookham Dr., Grove City, OH 43123.
