Vonna Mae Murray, 88, of Columbus, passed away Friday, October 2, 2009 at Columbus West Park. She was born April 16, 1921, in Columbus, daughter of the late Clem and Gladys Edwards Finney. In addition to her parents, Vonna was preceded in death by her husband, John Murray and brothers, Clem, Woody and Randall. She is survived by her daughter, LaVonne (Roger) Fannin; sons, Wayne Murray and Wendell (Virginia) Murray; sisters, Anna, Dorothy, Carol and Naomi; brothers, Dale and Conrad; grandchildren, Penelope, Priscilla, Patience, Kelly and Brian; great grandchildren, Timothy, Courtney, Brandon, Symon, Emily, Natalie and Derick. Private services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Columbus West Park Nursing Center 1700 Heinzerling Dr. Columbus, OH 43223 in Vonna's name. Arrangements have been entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel 3393 Broadway, Grove City.
