Wallace D. Cox age 79 of Columbus passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2002 at St. Ann's Hospital in Westerville. Wallace was an Army veteran of World War ll serving oversea on the Army railroad system following his discharge he worked for the Norfolk and Southern Railroad giving them over 45 years of faithful service. Preceded in death by children Teresa, Elizabeth and Denny Cox; step-son Ted Samuels, parents Dennis & Viola (Jones) Cox; brother Joseph Cox. Wallace is survived by his loving wife Joan; daughters Brenda (James) Detty of Groveport, Marjorie Cox of Columbus; stepsons Tim Baker of Orlando, FL and Terry (Leslie) Baker of Grove City; grandchildren Daniel and Sara Detty, Michael and Bobby Randazzio, Terric and Sabrina Bryant; step-grandchildren Michael Samuels, Brant Baker and Amber Baker; brothers Carl Cox of Texas and Jerry Cox of Columbus.
