Wallace Alan Judge was born March 15, 1943 to Harold and Helen Judge of Parma, Ohio. He was raised in Parma and graduated from Parma High School. He attended Ohio University where he got the "bug" to fly. He graduated from Ohio University in 1965. Wally joined the Air Force where he became a 2nd Lt. He went to flight training at Del Rio, Texas. Wally and his new wife Ellen Ashby Judge went to Del Rio, Texas. After flight training, Wally flew KC135 (SAC) based at Rickenbacker AFB, formerly Lockbourne AFB. He served two tours of duty during the Vietnam War. One in air to air refueling in the KC135. One as a forward air controller in the O2. Wally was honorably discharged from the Air Force with a rank of Captain. Ellen and Wally had two sons, Russell and Jeffrey. Wally committed his life to the Lord Jesus Christ shortly after the birth of his sons. He served as an elder at Trinity UMC in Pickerington and a treasurer at Family Life Church in Gahanna. After 25 years working for Airborne Express, Wally retired. Wally was a check airman for Airborne Express for over 10 years. The last plane he flew was the Boeing 767. Wally was a man of great honesty and integrity. He was a wonderful husband and father and will be missed by his family and many friends. He was a man of his word. He will be missed by his wife of 52 years, Ellen Judge, sons Russell and Jeffrey (Emma) Judge, grandson David, sister Lois Keefe, nieces Sally (Jim) Zupancic, grand nephew Jim Zupancic and grand niece Aubrey Zupancic and special friend Daneta Essex.
Friends may call at Trinity Family Life Church, Thursday, December 14, 2017 from 10am until time of service at 11am with Pastor Rick Marshall officiating.
