Walter L. Claar Jr., 75, of Columbus, passed away August 21, 2010 at his residence. He was born June 15, 1935, in Columbus. Walter was preceded in death by his parents Walter L. and Hazel Marie (Monroe) Claar Sr; and sister, Rosemary Harris. Survivors include his loving wife Patricia; children, Walter L. Claar III, David (Eulinda) Claar, Brian (Joann) Claar, Sally Hensley, Regina (Arthur) Canull, and Blanche Claar; sisters, Georgia Marie Gloyd, Betty Jane (Steve) Crowell, Margaret (Roy) Smith, Barbara Jean Ashburn, twelve grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and special friend of family Tina Kelso. Graveside service will be held Thursday, August 26, 2010 at 12:00 PM at Sunset Cemetery, 6959 West Broad St. Galloway, OH.
