Walter "Scotty" Scott

Walter T. Scott, 61, of Dublin, passed away on Saturday, October 18, 2008, surrounded by his loving family. Born to Walter G. and Mary Beth (Chapel) Scott in Springfield on September 30, 1947, "Scotty" was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Mary Miller; sons, Zachary Scott, Joshua Scott, Andrew (Amy) Miller, Joseph (Kathleen Cline) Miller, Daniel Miller, Robert Miller; sisters, Cindy (Gary) Schlaegel and Melinda Butler; brothers, David and Terry Miller; grandchildren, Hunter and Corbin Cline, Laura and Kylee Smith, Caleb and Keegan Hudgel; special friends, Tim and Dawn Pope, Griffin Allen, Bill Hubert, Gary Greeler, Bob Miller and many special friends from Mid-Ohio. Scotty was employed by Enterprise Rental and worked at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course for 40 years as an announcer. Scotty was a US Navy Veteran. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2008 at 2:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH with the visitation from 12 Noon till time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the donors choice. The family wishes to thank Mary Miller of Loving Care Hospice.
