Wanda I. Johnson, 80, Columbus, passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2010, surrounded by her loving family. Wanda was born in Fort Gay, WV on August 18, 1930, to Glen and Thelma (Adkins) Ratcliff and is preceded in death by her parents; husband, George Johnson; brothers, Charles and Billy Ratcliff. Survivors include her sons, Steve (Lucinda), Lloyd (Kim) and John (Carrie Rose) Johnson; sisters, Carol Proctor and Judy (Gene) Morrissey; brothers, Jack (Peggy) and David (Jo) Ratcliff; grandchildren, Ashley, Marc, Joshua, Seth, Patricia, Victoria and Aaron Johnson; nieces, nephews and many friends. Wanda retired from Timken Roller Bearing Company after 38 years and also worked for the Floyd Bell Company. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post #1598, FOE and AmVets. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post #1598, 677 East 11th Avenue, Columbus, OH 43211. Visitation will be held Sunday, November 21, 2010, 2-4PM & 6-8PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH with Services at 7:00 PM.
