Wanda Maresh, 89, of Walton Hills and Columbus, Ohio passed away Friday, April 29, 2011 at Mercy St. John Center in Springfield, Ohio. She was born December 20, 1921, in Chicago, Illinois, daughter of the late John and Josephine Kostencki. In addition to her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, Ladimer J. Maresh who passed away in 2007; brothers, George, Joseph, Stanley and sister, Irene. She is survived by her sons, David (Sandra) Maresh and Jeffery (Paula) Maresh; grandchildren, Daniel Maresh and Katharine Maresh. Private services will be held at the family's convenience. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Community Mercy Foundation, 1 South Limestone Street, Springfield, Ohio 45502, to support its goal to uphold a mission of service by providing health care for those in need. The family extends a special thank you to Mercy St. John Center and staff for their compassionate care of Wanda during the last months of her life.
