Wanda Stephens

Wanda B. Stephens, 78, of Grove City, Ohio passed away November 17, 2012. She was born November 25, 1933 in Sacred Wind, Lawrence County, Kentucky to the late James Ira and Loretta Good Ison.

Preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Charles Ellis Stephens, sister, Marie Ison, brothers Carl Ison, Lonnie Ison, Merrill Ison, Archie C. Ison, and Kenneth Ison.

Survived by son, Jerry (Debbie) Stephens of Columbus; daughter, Susan (Matt) Porter of Pickerington; granddaughter, Samantha Stephens of Columbus, granddaughter, Shelby Porter of Tampa, FL; step granddaughter, Holly Porter of Groveport, Ohio; sister, Christine (Jim) Mullins of Flowery Branch, GA; brothers, James Donald (Lula Mae) Ison of Texas; Howard (Joan) Ison, Tampa, FL; Robert (Juanita) Ison, London, OH; Ralph Clayton Ison, Columbus; Curtis (Elva) Ison, Los Gatos, CA; many nieces and nephews.

Retired from Elston Richards Storage Company. Wanda was a loving wife, mother, mamaw and sister. She will be remembered for her kind and gentle nature, her love of family and friends and her sense of humor.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 19, 2012 from 3:00pm – 7:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens, Canal Winchester, Ohio.
