Wanda Lou Uhas

Wanda Lou Uhas, 72, passed away on January 4th, 2024 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Wanda was born July 30, 1951 to Manuel & Susanna Estep in Roseville, Ohio. She resided in Columbus, Ohio for many years.

She was a loving mother and wife. Wanda will be deeply missed by her children, David Uhas and Nicole Uhas; her sister Leola (Bob) Schrader; her brother Bill (Sherrie) Estep; and nieces and nephews. Wanda is preceded in death by her parents, sister Betty Blagg, and husband Dave Uhas.

Wanda had the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit. She was kind, loving, selfless and thoughtful. She enjoyed fostering cats for the Capital Area Humane Society. She was a member of the Royal Babes Red Hat Society. She loved to crochet, read, diamond paint, bake and travel. Her love of crochet enabled her to give joyfully and generously to multiple charity organizations, family and friends.

Family and friends may call at Newcomer SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123 on Sunday, January 14, 2024 from 3:00pm-5:00pm for visiting hours. A funeral service will take place the following day, Monday, January 15, 2024 at 10:30am at the SW Chapel with a burial after at Greenlawn Cemetery.
