Waneta L. Born (Weaver), 95, passed away March 27, 2013.
She was preceded in death by parents, William and May; husband, Clarence; son, William; sisters, Dorothy Phillips, Mary Yoakum, Louise Brown and Gloria Evelyn; and brother, William Earl.
Waneta is survived by sister, Nancy (Raymond) Judy; son, Dennis; daughter, Nancy (Ronald) Taylor; grandchildren, Timothy (Victoria) Taylor, Michael (Marsha) Taylor, Robert Born, David (Cheryl) Born, Gary (Faith) Born and Melissa (Jay Jay) Loar; great-grandchildren, Benjamin, Katherine, Thomas, Matthew, Michael, Mia, Cayle, Nicole, Daniel, Cody and Melissa; great-great grandsons, Alexander and James Allen; and many nieces and nephews.
Long time member of Brown Road Community Church, where she served in all positions, including her favorite of teaching. Always giving and always loving. Retired from Southwestern City Schools where she was a cook for many years. Feeding people was her passion.
Visitation Monday, April 1, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Funeral Service Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at 1pm at the Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Green Lawn Cemetery, Columbus, OH.
