Warner Thomas, 85, of Columbus, passed away Sunday, July 8, 2007 at Columbus Colony. He was born September 7, 1921, in Cooperdale, OH, son of the late Raymond and Fannie Griffith Thomas. He served in the Army during WWII and was also a member of Living Hope Free Methodist Church. Warner was the third oldest of ten children. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Fey Thomas; daughter, Kimberley Thomas; son, Brent (Misty) Thomas; grandson, Thomas Hepler; step-grandsons, Nick and Andrew. Visitation will be Thursday, July 12, 2007 from 12:00-1:00 PM at Living Hope Free Methodist Church, 4142 Westerville Road, Columbus, with the funeral service beginning at 1:00 PM, with Pastor Kermit Welty, officiating. Interment will be in Maplewood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 870 Michigan Ave. Columbus, Ohio 43215. Arrangements have been entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home N.E. Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus. Messages of condolence may be left at www.NewcomerFamily.com
