Warren Chase Ellis III, 66, of Grove City passed away Friday, June 18, 2010 at his residence after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born July 21, 1943, in Nitro, WV, son of the late Warren Chase and Marian Ellis Jr. After graduating from Grandview Heights High School in 1961 Warren attended The Ohio State University where he was in the marching band. He served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. Warren was a computer systems analyst and created a program for car dealers to locate car parts easily. He took great pride in his yard and his ability to fix almost anything. Warren is survived by his loving wife, Sally J. Loudner Ellis; admiring family sons, Bryan (Tami Steele) Helfrich and Warren Chase (Jamie) Ellis IV; daughter, Kari Lloyd; brother, George (Karen) Ellis; sisters, Susan Ellis and Jean (Malvin) Hicks; grandchildren, Bryanne (Bob) Golubich, Joseph and Marianne Camille Helfrich, Konnor Lloyd, Olivia, Noah and Ian Ellis; great grandson, Robert Golubich; sister-in-law, Jan Cooper and many nieces, nephews and good friends. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 23, 2010 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, with the memorial service beginning at 7:00 PM.
