Wayne Melvin Ayers, Jr., 61, of Plain City, our husband, father, brother, and friend has taken the checkered flag in God's race. He is in victory lane. Wayne is preceded in death by his father, Wayne Sr., mother, Ada; brother, Marty; nephew, Mick. He is survived by his wife of heart, Kiki; daughters, Debbie (Rich) and Chaleah; grandsons, Joe, Josh and Jeremy; sisters, LaNell and Diane (Mike); many nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2009, 2-4PM & 6-8PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, with the Funeral Service to be held on Friday, October 30, 2009, at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Northlawn Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mount Carmel Hospice, 793 West State Street, Columbus, OH 43222.
