Wayne "Papa" Dickenson, 63, of Columbus, passed away Saturday, September 27, 2008 at his residence. He was born June 22, 1945, in Columbus, son of the late John and Jean Allen Dickenson. In addition to his parents, Wayne is preceded in death by a grandson, Dennis; two brothers and six sisters. He served in the Army. Wayne is survived by his son, Wayne (Karen) Dickenson II; daughters, Denise Johnson and Kimberly Dickenson; grandchildren, Wayne III, Richard, Keith, Tom, Sarah, Ashlynn, Allyson and Kaylene; great granddaughter, Bailey; mother of his children Shirley Dickenson; seven brothers; five sisters. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 30, 2008 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home S.W. Chapel, Grove City. Funeral service will be Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Jefferson Twp. Cemetery.
