Wesley C. Emerson, Grove City, passed away suddenly on Thursday, February 21, 2008, at his residence. Born to Charles and Florence (Harshfield) Emerson, Wesley is preceded in death by a brother, Bill. Survivors include his wife, Anita (Tekell) Emerson; daughters, Rachel (Seth) Hiser, Sarah and Tiffany Emerson; sister, Aleatha (Blaine) Moyer; brother, Charles (Joan) Emerson; grandson, Dietrick Hiser.Wes lived as a shining example of love and devotion for his family and friends.Not content to just live in the world, he chose to be a force that changed it. He has touched countless lives as friend, counselor and protector. As son, husband and father, he lived a life of truth, integrity and unfailing love. He will always be remembered for his vivacious wit, hearty laugh, and enduring patience. His legacy will be forever honored in the hearts and minds of all who really knew him.Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 24, 2008, 2-3PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH, with the memorial service at 3:00PM.
