Wilbur Richardson

RICHARDSON, Wilbur U., 89, beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend, of Canal Winchester, Ohio passed to his Heavenly home at the Manor of Whitehall on April 24, 2005. He was born in Hustle, VA to John and Daisy Richardson and one of fourteen children. Wilbur retired from B&O Railraod and F&R Lazarus. Married Margaret Samuel, May 11, 1940, of this union 5 children were born, Dwight (Gloria), Michael (Sue), Ruth Kirk, David (Beverly) , William (deceased). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchild; sister, Vivian Boyles of St. Petersburg, FL and other relatives and friends. Wilbur was very active in the service for the Lord at Columbus Baptist Temple, Capital City Baptist and presently was a member of Heritage Baptist Church in Canal Winchester, Ohio. Funeral services will be held 1:00PM Wednesday, April 27, 2005 at Heritage Baptist Church 470 Groveport Rd., Canal Winchester, Ohio. Visitation will be held from 12:00noon until time of service. Pastor Tracy Fowler will be officiating with interment at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family would like to thank the Manor of Whitehall and their wonderful staff and Hospice nurses for the wonderful care given to our loved one, and the many concerns and prayers during his illness.
