William "Hobo Bill" I. Adams, 79, passed away Thursday, December 14, 2006, at Mt. Carmel West. Born to the late William M. and Nellie (Crabtree) Adams, Bill is preceded in death by his wife, Clara "Bobbie" (Smith) Adams, (12/09/06), and brother, Ray Adams. Survivors include children, Gary (Judy) Adams, Nancy Adams, Ron (Kathy) Adams, and Jodie Byrum. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. "Hobo Bill" and Bobbie owned and operated Adams concessions since 1969 visiting county fairs and festivals throughout Ohio making friends wherever they traveled. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 18, 2006, from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. with the service being held on Tuesday, December 19, 2006, 11:00 a.m. at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Interment will follow at Beckett Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributes may be made to the American Lung Association of Ohio, 1950 Arlington Lane, Columbus, Ohio 43228.
