William C. Lowary, 90, of Columbus, passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2009, surrounded by his loving family. Born to Carl H. and Anna (Adams) Lowary in Wellsville, OH on November 21, 1918, Bill is preceded in death by his parents and a sister Elizabeth Ann McNicol. Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Marilyn (Weeks) Lowary; sons, William Jr and Michael Lowary; brothers, Frederick and James Lowary; granddaughter, Rebecca (Nate) Smock. Bill was a WWII Veteran with the US Army, accountant for North American Aviation/Rockwell, attended OSU and graduated from Rutgers University. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, July 27, 2009, at 2:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH with visitation one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made to the Ohio State University.
