WILLIS
William C. "Willie" Willis, 86, Columbus, passed away November 15, 2011. Willie was born in Columbus, OH on December 26, 1925, to John and Laura (Hatcher) Willis and is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marion (Shue) Willis; brother, Thomas Willis; sister, JoAnn Milhoan. Survivors include his daughters, Deborah (Al) Gregg and Sharolyn Francosky; grandchildren, Michael (Lisa Eakin) Gregg, Chris (Amber) Francosky, Matt (Jennifer) Francosky, Jennifer (Eddie) Sanchez, Eric Gregg; 8 great-grandchildren; nephew, Damon (Bev Nash) Willis; special friend, Cookie and family friends, Sue, Chuck and Ryan Moore; nieces, cousin and many friends. Willie was a Veteran of the US Navy. Willie's family would like to thank the staff at Friendship Village of Columbus, Heritage Day Care (161), and Dr. Olivia Hower and Megan for their excellent care and support. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2011, 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH. A Graveside Service will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
