William Jack Cassell, 65, passed away November 27, 2021.
He was preceded in death by adoptive parents, William Ira Cassell and Alice Mildred Cassell and biological parents, Benjamin and Mary Stage of Mt. Sterling; brothers, Robert and William T. Stage; sister, Ruth Pryor.
Jack is survived by children, William One Cassell and Tanmina Leeh Cassell; wife, Monalisa S. Cassell; siblings, Karen Cassell Donovan and biological siblings from the Stage family, Benjamin Stage, Fred Stage, Liz Houser, Minnie Calloway, Mary Brixey, and Linda Overfield; many other extended family and countless friends.
Jack worked for South-Western City Schools for over 30 years. He enjoyed painting and was musically and artistically gifted. He was a huge fan of John Denver. Jack had interests in aviation, WWII history, and volunteering - especially as Santa Claus at Nationwide Children's Hospital every year. He was extremely generous to everyone and was selfless. Jack wanted to see happiness and laughter in everyone around him, with no regard for himself. He was a son, father, husband, brother, uncle, best friend and Marine.
A private memorial will be held.
