William Clarence Marcum, Sr. age 81, of Grove City, passed away Thursday, August 13, 2009 at his residence. William was born on December 26, 1927 in Webb, West Virginia to the late William Clinton and Mollie Marcum. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean War. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by granddaughter, Dawn Marcum. Survivors include his daughters, Darlene Everetts, Peggy (Marc) Sergent, and Dawn Marcum; sons, William C. Marcum, Jr., Timothy (Tammy) Marcum, and Todd Marcum; twin sister, Florence Anderson; sister, Virginia Hayes; brother, Albert Hannah; seven grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Sunday, August 16, 2009 from 2:00PM-4:00PM and 6:00PM-8:00PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. Funeral service will be held Monday, August 17, 2009 at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery, Galloway, Ohio.
