William Cliff Morris, 72, of Grove City, OH passed away May 16, 2013. He was born in Ashville, NC on October 16, 1940.
Bill was a member of the Millionaire's (1960's), Bill and Glenn (1960's), Bill Morris Trio later changing to the Morris Brothers, and switching to a single act in the 1970's. Bill entertained at the Olentangy Inn with Bill and Glenn and the Morris Brothers in the late 1960's. He traveled throughout the U.S. until the early 1970's and the far east in 1971-72. Bill worked as a single act from then on until the early 1980's. Bill also drove a truck for J.B. Hunt. During his retirement he worked for Manheim Auto Auction. Bill was a member of Grove City Masonic Lodge #689 & York Rites.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Madeline Julia Morris, daughter, Julia Jean Morris and sister, Dorothy Morris. Surviving family includes, wife, Patti Morris, children, James Morris, Jason Morris, Kristina Rizer, grandchildren, Chelsea, Julia, Sarah, Joshua, Steven, Victoria, brother, Donald Morris.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 6:00pm, Sunday, May 19, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH.
A Masonic Service will be held Sunday at 5:30 pm at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00am, Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Pleasant Cemetery, Mt. Sterling, OH.
