William D. "Bill" Bennett, 93, passed away October 11, 2012. He was born April 25, 1919 in Amesville, OH, retired from North American Rockwell.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Ira and Faye Bennett; first wife, Phyllis; second wife, MaryAnn and brother, Ralph. He is survived by his children, Judy Rostofer, William (Sharon) Bennett, Darlene (Pat) Divney, John (Carol) Bennett and Priscilla (Jack) Ralph; brother, Frank (Cathy) Bennett; sister-n-law, Thelma Bennett; grandchildren, Tauni Alltop, Kevin Tigrett, Scott Tigrett, Greg Bennett, Brian Bennett, Michelle Cruz, Dustin Moss, Amy Burchette, Jack Ralph and Jamie Ralph; 20 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren, beloved dog Scrappy and many nieces and nephews.
Bill was a member of the Greek Orthodox Church and a 50 year Mason.Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 PM Sunday, October 14, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, October 15, 2012 at the funeral home. Burial at Washington Cemetery, Washington Court House, OH.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Greek Orthodox Church, 555 N. High St., Columbus, OH 43215.
