William D. Ticknor III, 79, died July 20, 2011. Bill was preceded in death by parents, William D. Jr. and Elizabeth Ticknor. He is survived by loving wife of 57 years, Shirley Ticknor; children, Laura (Ron) Schott, Bill (Cheryl) Ticknor, Joyce Ticknor, Cathy "Cate" Ticknor, Steve (Kara) Ticknor, Rachel Ticknor and Julia Ticknor; siblings, Arthur Ticknor, Julia Petrakis, Anne McNeece, and Henry Ticknor; grandchildren, Leann, Brian and Randy Schott, Andrew (Melissa) and expecting great-grandchild, Michelle, Nathan, Kasey and Abbey Ticknor. Friends may visit at Lower Lights Community Church of the Nazarene on Sunday July 24 from 2-4 PM with a memorial service to follow at 4 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Lower Lights Ministries.
