William Davidson

William "Bill" Marshall Davidson, 70, of Westerville, passed away Sunday, November 11, 2012 at Riverside Methodist Hospital.
He was born March 18, 1942 in Tiffin, son of the late James and Jane Thirlkeld Davidson.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sadie and Nelson Vanderlip and Burd Hunter Grove.
He attended the University of Cincinnati and graduated from Heidelberg College.
Bill was a member of the EX Society at Heidelberg and retired from the Columbus Public Schools as a teacher.
He also enjoyed filming his family on the holidays and at sporting events.
Bill is survived by his wife, Laura Hernandez Davidson; daughters, Jennifer Davidson and Amber (Jason) Woellert; grandchildren, William Matthew 8 yrs, Abigail Marie 3 yrs and Maddox Marshall 4 mths; sisters, Jane (Wayne) Shepherd, Anne Comstock, Mary Davidson and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday, November 15, 2012 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus, with the memorial service to follow at 7:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society Central Region Office-FRAO 5555 Frantz Rd. Dublin, OH 43017 or the Tiffin Columbian Alumni Association, 300 S. Monroe St. Tiffin, OH 44883.
Bill was a loving husband, father and grandfather that was always there for his family. He was also an avid OSU fan and enjoyed watching his daughters play sports.
