William E. Deweese

William E. DeWeese Sr., 85, passed away peacefully at home on December 22, 2012. He was born March 15, 1927.
He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII and member of VFW Post 4044. Bill Retired from C&SOE (AEP) with 38 years of service. He loved to fish Lake Erie with his family and friends. Bill loved football, bowling and hunting. He played softball for C&SOE.
Preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Eleanor DeWeese; brother, Floyd DeWeese; sister, Mary Briggs; sister-in-law, Marie DeWeese and son-in-law, Don Gibson. He is survived by loving wife, Juanita; children, Theresa (Rick) Kline, William (Connie) DeWeese, David (Karen) DeWeese, Donald DeWeese and Thelma DeWeese; 7 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; brother Robert DeWeese; sister-in-law, Betty DeWeese and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday, December 26, 2012 and 5:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, December 28, 2012 at the funeral home. Burial at Sunset Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the staff of Heartland Hospice for their superior care given to Bill.
