William was employed by Local #423. He is survived by his wife, Madeline Pettiford Mason; children, William (Renee) Mason Jr., Yvonne Allen, Wilhemenia Mason, Elizabeth Oldham, Jackie Pettiford, Charles Pettiford and Nicole Pettiford; 28 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and a host of extended family members and special friends.
