William E. Turner, 78, of Columbus, OH passed away June 15, 2011 at Mount Carmel West Hospital. Bill was born in Canoe, KY on August 23, 1932 to Golden and John Turner. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sibling. He is survived by his wife Nancy of 60 years, daughters, Pamela Gest, Susan (Larry) Snodgres, and son, Edward (Barbara) Turner, grandsons, Anthony (Gina) Gest, Bryan (Christina) Gest, Jeff (Ashley) Turner, 5 great-grandchildren, 8 siblings, long time family friend, Doug (Terri) Blake, Steffi, his beloved pet and numerous golf buddies. Bill was a longtime west side resident and business owner of Turner Pest Control. Bill was a Korean War veteran and member of the American Legion, VFW, and the Moose. He was an avid golfer and lover of life and family. Visitation will be held from 11:00am to 1:00pm, Friday, June 17, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH, with Funeral services conducted at 1:00pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Grove City Cemetery.
