William F. Watt, 85, Columbus, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2012, surrounded by his loving family. Bill was born in Bellaire, OH on November 21, 1926, to Robert R. and Grace (Korell) Watt and is preceded in death by his parents; wife of 63 years, Adalyn M. (Barstow) Watt; brothers, Ralph and George Watt; sister, Vivian Bradtka. Survivors include his daughters, Billie (John) Brinkman and Jerrie (Wendell) Yoakam; grandchildren, Jennifer (Brian) Bashore, Edward Brinkman, Erin Yoakam; Mark (Ellen) Yoakam; great-grandchildren, Brooke, Blake, Evan; nieces, nephews and many friends. Bill was a veteran of the US Navy and attended The American Baptist Church. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 23, 2012, 5-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH with the Funeral Service on Tuesday, January 24, 2012, 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Kingwood Memorial Park, Lewis Center, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The American Baptist Church, 401 Schrock Road, Westerville, OH 43081.
