William C. Grubbs, 76 of Columbus passed away January 3, 2006 at Grant Medical Center. He was born on June 30, 1929 in Columbus, OH. William faithfully served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Grubbs on January 3, 2005. William is survived by his Son, Rick (Tina) Grubbs of Columbus; Grandsons, Ricky Grubbs, Jr., William M. Grubbs, Dylan Grubbs and Alex Cook; Granddaughter, Amanda Phillips, Crystal Grubbs, Penny Ann Grubbs, Rebecca Cook; Daughter, Mary Climer. Family will receive friends on Friday, January 6, 2006 from 5-8 P.M. at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus. A Funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Franklin Hills Memory Gardens. Messages of Condolence may be left at www.newcomerfamily.com
