William H. Doty, 89, of Westerville, passed away on Sunday, October 7, 2007, after an extended illness. Bill is preceded in death by a son, Thomas Richard Doty. Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Kathleen (Condon) Doty; daughters, Judy (Doug) Cyrus, Nikki (Michael Denihan) Hall, Toni (Ron) Bennett; son, Craig (Beth) Doty; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. A Navy Veteran of WW II and an avid golfer, Bill worked for Atlas Linen and Industrial Supply for 30 years and Rosemont School in Columbus for 7 years. A memorial service will be conducted on Friday, October 12, 2007, at 4:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH. Family will receive friends from 3:30 - 4:00 PM prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Ann's Hospice, 500 South Cleveland Avenue, Westerville, OH 43081.
