Wm. "Troy" Hatfield, 81, of Columbus, passed away Tuesday, September 16, 2008. Troy was born on January 18, 1927 in Delbarton, WV, to the late Wall and Edith Hatfield. Troy retired from Buckeye Stamping after 35 years of service. In addition to his parents, Troy was preceded in death by his brothers, Ted, and Tom. Troy is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Sara; daughter, Joyce (Zeke) Zeallear; son, Troy (Linda) Hatfield, Jr.; grandchildren, Annette (Paul) Duty, Shawn (Tonya) England, Joey (Jarah) Zeallear, and Vanessa (Jim) Steinbugl; great-grandchildren, Nic, Ben, Sara, and Jon Duty, Parris, Alexis, and Houston England, Josh and Haley Zeallear, T.R. and Audra Steinbugl; sisters, Mildred Lowery, and Sylvia Cisco; brothers, Wall Jr., Bryant, Billy, Rush, Jimmy, and Rodney Hatfield. Visitation will be held Friday, September 19, 2008 from 2-4PM and 6-8PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 20, 2008 at 11:00AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Obetz Cemetery.
