William Hickey

William "Bill" Hickey, 66, of Worthington, passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at Grant Medical Center.
He was born May 26, 1946 in Columbus, son of the late Kenneth William and Georgianna Schwager Hickey.
Bill is survived by his wife, Maribel Hickey; son, Kenneth William Hickey II; daughter, Katie Hickey; brother, Timothy Hickey; sister, Margaret Ann Hickey; grandchildren, Ryan and Bryant Hickey; lifelong friend, Danny Stutler; special friends, Carol Hickey, Kris Haskins and all his band mates.
Visitation will be July 1, 2012 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus.
Funeral service will be Monday, July 2, 2012 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Glen Rest Memorial Estates.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Grant Medical Center.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, 1950 Arlingate Lane Columbus, OH 43228.
Bill was a musician his entire life and he brought joy to many through his music. He will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of hearing him play.
