William Thomas Jamar, Jr. 54, passed away on Saturday, February 5, 2022 in Columbus, Ohio.
William was born on September 19, 1967 in Columbus, Ohio to Rosetta L. Jamar and William T. Jamar, Sr.
He went to Brookhaven High School. He loved cooking, video games, and doing maintenance work. He also loved his Hawaiian shirts. In his younger days, he had a few nicknames, but as he got older he went by Jamar.
William is preceded in death by his father, William T. Jamar, Sr.; sister, Nikki R. Jamar and uncle, James H. Owens, Jr.
William is survived by his daughter, McKayla S. Mason; mother, Rosetta L. Jamar; aunt, Paulette Owens of Columbus, Ohio, uncle Rev. Jeffrey (Camla) H. Owens, Sr. of Montgomery, Alabama; aunt, Betty Joe Dixson and uncle, Dr. Sammie E. Dixson of Columbus, Ohio; a very special friend, Jenelle Manor of Hilliard, many other relatives and friends.
Family will receive friends on Monday, February 21, 2022 from 5pm to 6pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Columbus Northeast Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, Ohio 43231. A memorial service will be held immediately following at 6pm also at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Columbus Northeast Chapel.
