William Persinger, 67, of Hilliard, passed away Friday, June 20, 2008 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born December 9, 1940, in Pomeroy, Ohio, Son of the late Carl and Mazoline Bentz Persinger. In addition to his parents, William is preceded in death by his son, Matthew; sisters, Peggy Jean and Betty Jo. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Bonnie Sue (Kimes) Persinger; children, Carlene Cutler, John (Debbie) Persinger, Shelly (Bruce) Langhirt, Jackie (Tom) Strong and Kerrie Cook; brother, Tom (Cindy) Persinger; grandchildren, Misty (Jerry), Michelle, Erin (C.J.), Jacob, Michael, Amanda, Paige, Brittney, Cameron, Haley and Bruce; great grandchild, Makayla; sisters-in-law, Rosie (Bob), Barbara (Bobby), Sherrie and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be Monday, June 30, 2008 at 3:00 PM at Hilliard Church of Christ 4300 Avery Road, Hilliard with visitation one hour prior to services. Arrangements have been entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home N.E. Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus.
