William R. "Billy" Green, 56, of Columbus, passed away Monday, January 7, 2008 at the Columbus Rehab & Subacute Institute. He was born January 1, 1952, in Columbus. Billy is preceded in death by his mother, Juanita Hall Green and brother, Robert Green. He was an avid bowler. Billy is survived by his father, Burton (Georgia) Green; son, William R. Green II; daughter, Kelly Marie Green; long time companion, Sue Sossa; brothers, Kelly (Eileen) and Gary Green; sisters, Julie (Greg) Goldsmith and Kristine (Jack) Wise; mother of his children, Patricia Green. Visitation will be Thursday, January 10, 2008 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-7:30 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home N.E. Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, with the memorial service beginning at 7:30 PM at the funeral home. Messages of condolence may be left at www.NewcomerFamily.com
