William Roger Neel, 88, Westerville, OH passed away peacefully, Monday, September 5, 2011, surrounded by his loving family. Bill was born in Nemours, WV on May 30, 1923, to David H. and Martha (Lawson) Neel, and is preceded in death by his parents and 7 brothers and sisters. Survivors include his loving wife of 62 years, who never left his side, Frances L. (Sawyers) Neel; daughters, Lisa (Sandy Tippie) Neel and Kelly (Danny) Brown; son, Michael (Linda) Neel; grandchildren; Michelle, Stephanie, Jason, Melisa, Melissa, James, Robert, Nick; 17 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild on the way; nieces, nephews and many friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2011, 5-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH with the Funeral Service on Friday, September 9, 2011, 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
