William F. "Bill" Strapp, 75 , a life-time resident of central Ohio and 1948 graduate of Aquinas College High School. Two year veteran of the Korean War, retired from old F & R Lazarus Co. after 35 years. Preceded in death by Parents, Thomas and Desta Strapp; Brothers, Dick and Jack; most caring and understanding Mother and Fa-ther-in-law, Arthur and Lucille Lotz; Cousin and lifetime Mentor, Mrs. Elizabeth Leonard. Left to cherish his memory, loving Wife of 49 years and very best friend, Karol; Daughters, Debra and Amy Strapp of Columbus, Judith (Loren) Ledford of Delaware; Son, Michael (Nancy) Strapp of Louis-ville, Kentucky; Grandchildren, Christina, Sarah, Sandy, Tyler, Leah; Special Relatives and Friends, Lisa Proctor, Teri Penix, Maryann and Dennis Leonard and their families, William and Hope Slemmer, Chris Slemmer, David and Suzanne Slemmer, and Jerry Renner. Family will receive friends and relatives on Tuesday, March 28, 2006 from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at the Newcomer Funeral Home N.E. Chapel 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 6:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Home Outreach Hospice or to the Kobacker House.
