William Triplett Sr., 69, of Columbus, passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at his residence. He was born November 28, 1938, in Kentucky, son of the late Troy Triplett and Marjorie Leadmon. In addition to his parents, William is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Yontz Triplett and brother, Kenny Triplett. He is survived by his sons, William Triplett Jr., Timothy (Kimberly) Triplett Sr., Tracy (Jackie) Triplett; daughter, Marcy (Aaron Smith) Triplett; brother, Dewey Triplett; sister, Delores Yontz; grandchildren, Patricia Dalton, William Eric Triplett Sr., Scott Sowers, Nicole Stamper, Timothy Triplett Jr., Marcus Triplett, Becky Triplett, Stormy Triplett and Myangel Smith; fourteen great grandchildren. Visitation will be Saturday, May 31, 2008 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home N.E. Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus. Funeral service will be Monday, June 2, 2008 at 1:00 PM at the funeral home, with Pastor Kermit Gardner, officiating. Entombment will be in Kingwood Memorial Park.
