William "Bill" Weber, 68, of Columbus, passed away Monday, October 22, 2012 at his residence.
He was born August 24, 1944 in Columbus, son of the late Bruno and Dorothy Clark Weber.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his brother, Karl Weber.
He served in the Navy during Vietnam as a radio operator on the U.S.S. Hornet where he received the National Defense Medal.
Bill was employed by Kroger Bakery with over 41 years of service and was also a redcoat at the O.S.U. games.
He is survived by his daughters, Sheri (Verrondo) Foster and Jennifer Weber; brother, Paul (Helen) Weber; sister, Susan Parsons; granddaughters, Larissa, Isabella and Sophia Foster; former wife, Carol Bender and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Sunday, October 28, 2012 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus.
Funeral service will be Monday, October 29, 2012 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Glen Rest Memorial Estates.
