In Loving Memory of Williams George 1952 ~ 2022
Williams George, of Columbus, Ohio passed away on Sunday May 8, 2022 after a long illness with cancer. He was born in Sierra Leone to Elenora Kainde Pratt and George Bankole Williams.
Williams was a Senior Pastor of a church he set up in Freetown, Sierra Leone and when he immigrated to the United States he started and maintained a church for years here in Columbus, Ohio. Many here know him and will miss him.
He is preceded in death by children; Donald and Sonny.
Williams will be deeply missed by his only surviving sibling; Fred Johnson, his children; Desmond Aubrie Williams, Leonora Rosamond Farl, Millicent -Rosaline Williams, Pristine Williams, Precious Williams, and daughter-in -law; Clarina Williams. He is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces, cousins, nephews, uncles - including Edward Eddy, Bishop Admire Cleeve, Franklyn Davies; aunties including Georgiana Aberdeen, Rev. Cecilia Cleeve, Juliette Davies.
He will also be missed by his close friend, Kimberley Haywood and her children - Shatina, Timothy, Antwon and Jedin.
He was preceded in death by six siblings.
MAY HIS SOUL REST IN PEACE AND RISE IN GLORY.
Visitation will be held Saturday, June 11th from 9:00 am until the time of service at 10:00 am ant Newcomer Northeast Chapel, 3047 E Dublin Granville Rd Columbus, Ohio 43231.
Burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, 1340 Woodland Ave Columbus, Ohio 43219.
