Willie "Gordon" Williams, 62, of Grove City, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 9, 2008. Born March 11, 1946, in Lawrence County, Kentucky. Preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Carma Williams. Survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Virginia "Susan" Williams, brother and sisters; Elwood (Patty) Williams, Lancaster; Joyce (Don) Berman, Cincinnati; Phyllis Williams, Grove City; Loreli Dailey, Florida; Velma (Eddie) Hoop, Grove City; Judy Cook, Indiana; many nieces, nephews, and friends. Member of Highland Baptist Church and retired from Columbus Life Insurance. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 12, 2008, 5-8PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH with the Funeral Service on Wednesday, August 13, 2008, 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Concord Cemetery, Grove City, OH. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Captial Area Humane Society or The Gideons International.
