Wilma R. Noel, 68, of Pataskala, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2009, surrounded by her loving family. Born to Jerry M. and Ruth F. (Orin) Picklesimer, on July 24, 1940, Wilma is preceded in death by her parents; husband, David Paul Noel; sister, Patricia Montgomery. Survivors include her daughters, Ruth Ann (Brady Ray) Hackney and Lyda Pauline (Albert) Smith; son, Charles Todd Noel; brother, James (Gail) Picklesimer; grandchildren, Russell David Littrell, Trey Smith, Alysha Smith, Samantha Vannatta; great-grandson, Kamdyn Paul Smith; brothers-in-law, Russell Montgomery, Jack (Mary Lou) Noel; sister-in-law, Ruth Palladino; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Wilma was a member of Eastern Star, Lima Senior, Summit Station Senior, and Volunteered at the LEADS. Wilma attended Summit Station Freewill Baptist Church. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2009, 2-4 PM & 6-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH with the Funeral Service on Thursday, March 5, 2009, 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Jersey Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Wilma's name may be made to either Hospice of Central Ohio or the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.
