WHITE

Wilton White, passed away on Friday, April 4, 2008, at the age of 83. Born on May 27, 1924 in Columbus, he was preceded in death by his brother, Willie E. White. Survivors include his loving wife of 30 years, Queen Brenda (Bing) White; daughter, Adelaide; sons, Marvin (Alice) White, Wayne and Robert; sister-in-law, Nancy Woodson; brothers-in-law, Henry (Hattie), Charles (Sandy) , and James Bing; grandchildren, Deborah (John) Crockett, Dolores (Charles) Fantroy, April (Jerry) Boykins, Anthony (Vivian) Grant, and Devin White; 12 great-grandchildren and 29 great-great-grandchildren; special family members, Paul Hicks, H. Tomlin (JR), Shirley (Phoney) Chapman, Barbara Diggs, beloved niece, Darlene Tisdale, Dayton, OH. Wilton was a US Army Veteran and was a former engineer and retiree of Buckeye Union/ Continental Insurance Company. The "Big Grand D" was a lover of camping, RV traveling and the Jazz & Rib Fest for 27 years. He was also a member of the Columbus Flames MCC. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 11, 2008,10:00AM - 12:00PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH with the service to follow at 12:00PM. Interment will follow at Eastlawn Cemetery.
