Winfield S. "Pete" Caborn, 70, of Grove City passed away Friday, June 4, 2010. He was born June 3, 1940, son of the late Loren and Hedy. In addition to his parents, Pete was preceded in death by his brothers, Jeff and Jon. He graduated from West High School and was also a drummer with the local music groups The Trends and The Terry Briggs Trio. Pete loved music, classic films, chocolate ice cream and most of all, his family. He could always be counted on to lift spirits and make people smile with an unexpected joke. Pete is survived by his wife of 38 years, Barbara; children, Peter (David), Matthew (Staci), Scott (Jane) and Stephanie (Simon); grandchildren, Mackenzie, Courtney, Jamie, Xana and Caius; brother, David (Leslie); sister, Lauren (Dave); aunt and uncle, JoAnn and John Bill; extended family and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 8, 2010 from 3:00-6:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway Grove City.
