Yvonne L. Hanna

Yvonne L. Hanna aged 77 of Circleville Ohio, formerly of Columbus, Ohio gained her wings on December 31, 2021, following a short illness.
Yvonne was born prematurely on January 2, 1944, the only child of Orville "O.C." and Rosalind Schadewald (both deceased). On August 3, 1963, she married the love of her life Alvin R. Hanna, and they lived happily together for 54 years before he passed in 2016. They had 3 children together, Eddie, Cindy (deceased), and Craig.

She retired from Columbus City Schools after more than 30 years as an elementary school secretary. Yvonne had a great love and devotion to Christ, attending Friends Worship Center in Columbus for many years. She also loved to Crochet, gifting over 100 Afghans to friends and family over the years. She was also an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan who never missed a game. Her love of bright colors and shiny shoes set her apart from everyone else, and it is that personality and her infectious smile that will be so very missed by all who knew and loved her.
Yvonne is preceded in death by both of her parents, O.C. and Rosalind Schadewald, her beloved daughter Cindy Hane and her loving husband of 54 years, Alvin Hanna.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons; Eddie Hanna of Houston, TX, and Craig (Bobbi) Hanna of Circleville, OH, and her sisters; Terry Brothers of St. Petersburg, FL, and Monica Myers of Columbus, OH. Also remembering her fondly are her grandchildren: Heather (Brock) Lamb, Chris (Tiffany) Hanna, Misty Moore, Alya Combs, Tyler (Darby) Thornton, Dylan Silcott, Katie Hanna, RJ Silcott, and Katherine "Pea" Silcott. In addition, she will also be missed by her niece Roxie (B.J.) Miller. She also had 15 great grandchildren.

Memorial service will he held at Friends Worship Center, 3030 Clime Rd., Columbus, OH 43223 at 11:00am on Saturday, January 15, 2022. Dinner to follow after services at 12:30pm.
