Zackery Lee Hammond

Zackery Lee Hammond, of Westerville, passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2023.
He was born February 3, 1954, in Westerville, OH.
He was preceded in death by his father, Carl and mother, Martha (Vest) and his brother Johnny, and sister Roberta.
He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Pamela Hammond and son Zackery II, sister Linda Partridge (Jim) and many, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
He worked as a fire truck electrician for 30 years at the Sutphen Corporation in Dublin, Ohio.
He served in the United States Army 1971 - 1974 where he got to serve, travel and live in Panama and Oklahoma. He enjoyed fishing, boating, camping, swimming and hunting. He also loved to sing and listen to music. His family and friends also enjoyed listening to him sing.
He loved watching the OSU Buckeyes football and the Cincinnati Bengals.
He will be greatly missed by all.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus - OH.
