Zola Jane Smith Osborn, born Dec. 23, 1918 in Clarkrange, TN to Marion Calvin and Myrtle (Stowers) Smith went to Heaven Sept., 28, 2013. Preceded in death by parents; husband of 49 years, Warren Henry Osborn; daughter, Henrietta Faye Fuller and son-in-law, Jack Bombatch.
Survived by daughters, Velma Corcoran of Niceville, FL and Betty Bombatch of Columbus, OH; son-in-law, Carl Fuller of Utica, IN; beloved grandmother of Daniel (Vickie) Corcoran, Debora (Kevin) Stubbs, Linda (Sonny) Haskins, Warren (Donna) Culp, Mark (Colleen) Bombatch, John (Christy) Bombatch, Jonda Whitt, Jay Whitt and Mike Fuller; many great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.
Our mother was a strong U.A.W. member with General Motors for 31 years and retired in 1979.
She was an avid gardener, quilter, craft maker and artist. Her beautiful creations are being enjoyed by family and friends. Fishing with our father, traveling, playing cards or listening to banjo music made her happy. Mom was a wonderful lady, beloved mother, loving grandmother and special friend to many and was loved so much.
Visitation Friday, October 4, 2013 from 5-8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Funeral Service Saturday, October 5, 2013 at 11 am at the Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Pleasant Cemetery, Mt. Sterling, OH.
